Gugleta comes out clutch securing Metalurg a point in Ljubuski

Gugleta osigurao Metalurgu bod u Ljubuškom

Izvidjac CO - Metalurg

Exciting match in Ljubuski! Izvidjac have with an extraordinary second-half performance managed to come to a verge of the second SEHA win this season after trailing by 3 after first 30 but brilliant ice-cold Aleksandar Gugleta scored 2 late goals securing Metalurg a point at 24:24. Guests did open the match better even having +5 at one point but Izvidjac have in second half managed to completely turn the match over on wings of amazing Ante Grbavac who finished the match as best home-team scorer with 5. Aleksandar Gugleta took care of canceling the big stunner with two late goals while Nemanja Obradovic was once again leading Metalurg in attack with 6. Darko Arsic added 15 saves. In the next round Izvidjac will in a week welcome Gorenje Velenje and Metalurg will on the other side travel to Nasice to meet NEXE.

Aleksandar Jovic, Metalurg assistant coach:
It's nice to be here again. I was here as a player, and now as a coach. This is a great handball city. In the first halftime we've had 3-goal advantage. In the second we've made a few mistakes allowing Izvidjac to take control of the match but luckily we've managed to come back from 2-goal deficit in the end. This is the most realistic outcome in my opinion.

Zdenko Grbavac, Izvidjac CO coach:
I would like to thank our guests on a fair and correct game. We've entered this game with too much fear and respect. A great disadvantage for us was also that we've missed two of our players, Sarac and Cutura. We've managed to come back from 3-4 goal deficit but in the end lacked focus to secure a new win. We're however satisfied with both the game and the outcome.

Marko Neloski, Metalurg player:
Coaches already said everything. We were lucky to take a point in the end with more focus than Izvidjac in decisive moment.

David Mandic, Izvidjac CO player:
We were training hard whole week preparing for this match. In the first half we've committed too many techninal mistakes but in the second we've managed to catch focus and grab a point.
