Monday was in France reserved for placement matches on President's Cup in Brest. Bahrain have managed to avoid the bottom with a 32:26 win over Angola. Chile will finish the competition on 21st position after a clear 35:29 win over Japan. Tunisians have managed to dominantly beat Saudi Arabia with 39:30 and in the most interesting match of the day Poles have managed to edge Argentines 24:22 securing 17th position on WCh in France.

Teams will tomorrow fight for SF tickets. SEHA Gazprom League can be proud of three of its teams still being actively in the battle for a place in semi-finals in Paris - Croatia, Hungary and Slovenia. Hungarians will open the day with a clash against Norway in Albertville, Croatia will in Montpellier face Spain and Slovenia will look to book a SF place against Qatar in Paris.
