Another great performance and a new big win for Vardar

Vardar has once again managed to show strength and ambition as well as the fact that they are among the best teams in SEHA Gazprom League beating Tatran in Skopje with 38:21 (20:13). This win will leave Vardar on League’s top and keep Tatran on the bottom.
Vardar’s defense was working remarkable led by Strahinja Milic who has managed to gather 15 saves. Their attack was on the other side amazing as well scoring 38 goals which says quite much for itself. ‘Black-red’ have simply given their fans a night to remember. Vardar was 13:8 up with a bit more than 10 minutes left on the clock in the first half even without Marsenic, Dibirov and Angelov who were not in the roster for the match as well as Sterbik who has watched the game from the bench. Five minutes into the second half Vardar was already 25:15 up which was a clear sign of what will later be a clear, dominant victory.

Well-deserved victory for Vardar. They have a
vast selection of players. They have during the summer managed to sign some
amazing players from all around Europe and with all those names in their roster
it was difficult for us to play our tactics. Each our technical mistake ended
in Vardar scorin an easy goal. They have powerful back players who have decided
the match today, that was the reason for our loss.

I am satisfied with the result and I`d like to
congratulate players on their performance. It was hard to play because we needed
extra focus. We’ve had a good defense 5-1 and a good goalkeeper in the first
half when we’ve managed to enlarge the gap. In the second half we’ve managed to
keep the tempo up and I can say I’m happy about that because we have played the
whole match on a maximum level.

Europe which can surely reach both SEHA and CL F4. They’ve managed to convert
